Smoke Cloak

A cloaking system designed to prevent intruder entry by quickly enveloping the immediate area in a dense cloud of glycol smoke. "Smokecloak" uses atomized water based glycol fluid that is harmless to food, computers and all other equipment. It is non-toxic and a COSHH sheet is available.

"Smokecloak" should not be confused with products making a similar claim which use pyrotechnic devices or oil based solutions. "Smokecloak" can be triggered by your existing intruder alarm or by a system designed specifically for this purpose.

Smoke production is controlled by a patented remote sensor that measures the density and shuts off the smoke at a preset level but automatically fires the system again to "top up" the level if the smoke loss is below a pre-determined setting.

One "Smokecloak" unit is capable of producing up to 250 cubic metres of smoke in 30 seconds.

"Smokecloak" can only be installed by recognised company's whose engineers are factory trained.

Some major insurance companies are offering discounts on premiums and reductions in excess amounts payable when a "Smokecloak" system has been installed.
